Plantify’s Resurrection

No better time than now to resurrect this good ol’ blog.

We’ve moved four times since the last post. Moved from a 2nd floor apartment with beautiful and bright Southwest exposure to a houseboat where I became very well acquainted with water fowl and marshy plants. Moved from there to a large but shady garden apartment that we turned into an overgrown jungle and increased the plant diversity by 100%. Finally now we are on the 4th floor apartment living amongst the trees.

And we continue to Plantify here too.

The view outside our window facing southwest. We look down on a wild overgrown garden and a garden patio.

Not wanting to leave our beloved Norwegian Spruce behind, we dug it up from the ground on a warm-ish day in February. We weren’t sure if it would survive the transition but we are so glad it did. Jason is experimenting with Bonsai’ing it and I love seeing the new growth grow in this incredible chartreuse color.
